   A massive wall of noise from the Mary Chain. Feedback is constantly going throughout this record. They are relentless. The sound is poor but in another way it's perfect. The first Peel session, in all its innocent squalor is present here, including the magnificent cover of Syd Barrett's Vegetable Man.

   So, so excited!!! Attention all Jesus and Mary Chain fans: their new lp/cd for release in is being released on March 24th!!! It is called "Damage and Joy". Something to look forward to as portions of New Jersey, U.S.A. have just been blanketed in snow & we've been in a "deep freeze" past 2 days, which will continue for 2 more.
